Currently in development, GOONERS is the sequel to REVENGE and will premiere at Chapter Arts Centre in May 2026. Developed over two years, GOONERS continues POPPERFACE’s exploration of transcendence, rage, and class-based trauma.

Through a raw and physically charged movement language rooted in Butoh, horror cinema, and MMA, the work examines how queer and working-class bodies become vessels for memory, violence, and desire.

The sound score will be composed by Rainy Miller, with live performance contributions from long-time collaborator Richard Pye. Development has been supported by Arts Council Wales, Hull City Council, and Fierce Festival.
